If you thought that predicting the outcomes of the matches during the group stage is hard, try to do it now. It's a knockout phase and anything goes.

Today, we have two games:

France v Argentina

France qualified for the knockout phase with ease, unlike Argentina. Judging by the recent performance, this should be another win for the French, but I'm not so sure. The Argentinians have the quality (and the stats) in their favor and after coming so close to going home early, I think they'll play their best game to date.

My Bet: Both teams to score & Over 2.5 goals @3.40

Uruguay v Portugal

I don't see Uruguay as the favorites today. Portugal does rely on Ronaldo to do the job, but the guy is a goal scoring machine and he does the job, time and again. I won't underestimate the Uruguayans today, their form is improving and they are on a mission.

This game can end up being a boring draw or a goal-fest. I'll go with the latter.
