Not the most exciting match Tuesday between Club Brugge and Atletico Madrid where the score stayed 0-0. Hopefully more interesting encounters today in the Europa League. Most matches are quite tricky and I do have very little useful pre-game betting angles today and everything will have to happen live in-game.

Akhisar vs Standard

Standard will be qualified in this match if they do better than Sevilla at home against Krasnodar or wins and Sevilla wins with 4-0 or a 5 goal difference. The home team is eliminated and has taken 0 points out of the first 5 matches. So even if Standard win they will not be sure if they go to the next round. Their team line-up looks ok but they still have some missings (Djenepo / Bokadi, Pocognoli). Akhisar is last with 0 points but has kept things closer than their amount of points suggests. The form of Standard in the league has not been bets and Key Player Carcela has not reached his peak level in a while. They are the obvious favorite on the betting market and I would need some strong confirmation first before I would consider betting them. No Pre-Game Bets

Genk vs Sarpsborg

This match is do or die for Sarpsborg who will qualify and eliminate Genk if they win. Genk needs a draw but will play for a full win. They have not been as impressive as the start of the season where they were a team that could be taken blindly. Mostly their finishing has been somewhat unfortunate, but their overall level has still been high. They did become less 'wild' when being in the lead and do expect them to play more careful if they take the lead. I'm not jumping to take the -1.5 handicap on the home team. I would not be surprised if most action in this match came in the 2nd half. I do see Genk winning in the end and will be looking out for a better line live. I will likely bet them to make a comeback if they fall behind or wait for the -1 line if it ever gets there in-play.

Zagreb vs Anderlecht

I should have taken an early position on Zagreb -1 @ 2.19 to middle it up again knowing Anderlecht was likely going to field a lot of youngsters again in this match where they have nothing really to play for. Zagreb is already the group winner which makes this match is something of a friendly. More likely games like this tend to play out as uneventful, but it also would not be the first time to see a wild amount of goals in matches like this. I'm never really a fan of betting on matches like this with nothing really at stake. I will be watching this one live but don't have any reasons to get involved pre-game after that line movement.
