September's Bet #3: Today I will take a try with a draw bet and explain why you should keep an eye on the French 3rd division.

Previous bet

What a game last night with so many goals, but unfortunately Croatia didn't score any, so another loss form me. Never thought there would be that huge difference between both teams. What I will try to keep in mind for next time is the motivational factor. Spain had a terrible World Cup, a new coach, plenty of new players, everybody wanted to show that they are still one of the best teams. Doing that against the 2nd best team of the World Cup was a huge motivation. For Croatia, however, the opposite was the case. They are still the heroes of the World Cup and the strength and will that made them achieve what they did in the World Cup stayed in Russia. The 2nd and 3rd goal arriving in only 2 minutes really killed the game for them.

Next bet

Anyways, let's look forward. Today I didn't find any interesting game, I saw the Spanish Cup and the Women's Champions League, but I decided to skip a day rather than place some random bet. Tomorrow I found an interesting draw candidate in the game Le Mans – Tours. As you may remember from last month, I'm trying to figure out a profitable way for a draw strategy.

Le Mans

Le Mans promoted from the 4th league last year and they are still unbeaten after 6 games with 3 wins and 3 draws. They never won by more than 1 goal difference. This looks like a candidate to finish the season with plenty of draws, I will keep an eye on them.

Tours

Last season was the exact opposite for Tours, they had a really dark year and were relegated. They finished on the last place with only 23 points, 15 less than the salvation would have cost. I don't think they are too happy with the beginning of the new season. They are on a good 5th place, only 3 points behind leader Boulogne. They are also unbeaten, but they only won 2 games. With 4 draws they have the 2nd most of their league, 3 of them 0:0.

Conclusion

This seems a classical draw game to me, thus my bet goes on draw.

Draw strategy

I will make a post in the future about the draw strategy. Before I make it I have to make some experiences first. At this point I only what to point out something for you: Keep an eye on the Championnat de France National (3 French Division) if you are looking for games that could end in a draw. So far 53 games were played with 21 draws. That’s 39.6% of draws. Typically the odds for draws are higher than 3.00, meaning you have to win 33% of your bets. If this goes on like that, this league could have some serious value for the draw strategy.
