After the launch of betscorum.com, I have been betting randomly and not keeping the records. I have been learning different betting stuff before I seriously got into betting. Now, I feel like I have learned the basics and should do it professionally. I have learned a lot from the SBC team (@btb, @costanza, @stimp1024 and @fullcoverbetting). Among the essentials, the record keeping is the most essential part of the betting if you want to be the winner.

And the next thing to consider is I don't have to bet on everything. The betting on different leagues is offered in Scorum but only bet on the things you know well. English Premier League is my strength and would bet mostly on it. For this week, I am bringing my betting picks from the English Premier League.

  1. Wolverhampton vs West Ham

To start the midweek, Wolverhampton will host West Ham at Molineux Stadium. The weekend had been bad for both the teams. It was a disaster for West Ham as they lost by 4-2 against AFC Wimbledon. Wolves played a 2-2 draw against Shrewsbury, a League One side - the third tier of English football.

As Wolverhampton welcomes West Ham, they will be looking for the hat-trick of victory at homes. In the previous 2 home games, Wolves defeated Leicester by 4-3 and Liverpool by 2-1. They have a chance here given the away form of West Ham. West Ham only won 4 games away from home out of 11 played. They haven't won any of the teams in the top 10 away from home. In the last 3 away games, they lost all of it. It includes defeat by Wimbledon, Bournemouth, and Burnley and conceded 8 goals. In the reverse fixture, Wolverhampton won the game by 1-0 away at West Ham. Thus, it is going to be another victory for Wolverhampton.

  • Wolverhampton to win @ 2.101

2. Fulham vs Brighton

In a battle between 2 bottom half teams, it is very difficult to predict a winner here. In the reverse fixture, these 2 teams played a 2-2 draw. Currently, at 19th, Fulham lost 3 back to back games while Brighton lost 2 back to back game against Liverpool and United. Both teams want to win this one. But the pattern of their previous matches had been similar. Both teams loved to score the goals and concede the goals. Fulham scored in all of their last 5 premier league matches. Brighton hardly is getting any clean sheets. They only had 4 CS this season and only 1 in last 10 games. Thus, goals are evident here and BTTS is the way to go for this match.

  • BTTS @ 1.90

3. Huddersfield vs Everton

Huddersfield has a new manager to take them out of the relegation zone but the quality in Huddersfield is not enough to get something out of Everton. Huddersfield is at the bottom with 11 points after winning only 2 games this season and losing 16. Everton lost against Southampton in the previous game week. Everton's form had been inconsistent but they don't want to lose back to back games against 2 bottom half teams. Everton lost a point after a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture but don't want to lose it here. Everton should easily win this one against the worse team of the league.

  • Everton win @ 2.132

4. Newcastle vs ManCity:

City had been scoring goals for fun recently. City played 3 or more goals in last 7 Premier League games. The last game without over 2.5 goals for City was way back early December when they lost 2-0 against Chelsea. ManCity is definitely winning this game but it is only a matter of how many goals will be scored. The last time these 2 teams played, 3 goals were scored at Etihad Stadium. The odds for City winning this one is at 1.218 in betscorum, the safest bet to play. I will be playing over 2.5 goals which is another safe bet to go forward with.

  • Over 2.5 goals @ 1.516

5. ManUtd vs Burnley:

Manchester United will be looking for the 9th straight win under Solskjaer as they welcome Burnley at Old Trafford. It should be an easy win for United, and the odds available for United to win this one is at 1.257 at betscorum. Burnley had shown some resilient recently but lost by 5-0 against ManCity recently. We would see Burnley conceding some goals here in this game. I will be bringing the preview of this but for now, over 2.5 goals is again the bet to play. Last time, United won 2-0 against Burnley at Turf Morr in the reverse fixture.

  • Over 2.5 goals @ 1.512

Here are my final bets at betscorum.com for Jan 29.

Thus, I have 75 SCR in stake for the above matches. I hope this works out. What do you guys think of the above picks?
