It was frustrating day of betting yesterday with no goals in both matches. Liverpool played 0-0 against Munich. Liverpool was the better team but couldn't covert the opportunities. It is going to be harder in the second leg for Liverpool going ahead. In the next game, Lyon managed to frustrate Barca and all bettors like me opting Barca in their bet. With around 20 shots, Barcelona failed to score one today.

  1. Athletico vs Juventus

Tomorrow, Athletico will host Juventus in the last 16 of the Champions League. It is going to be interesting affair against Juventus. Athletico is known to be one of the best defensive side in Europe. Juventus has Ronaldo who can take away game from any rivals. Previously, these 2 sides met in Champions League group stages. Juventus had frustating outing and lost away to Athletico and drew at home. Also, Athletico is unbeaten against Italian sides in CL.

But with Ronaldo in Juventus shirt, I will favor Juventus to win this one. I am taking Juventus victory at the odds of 2.83.

2. Shalke vs Manchester City

In the other game tomorrow, Shalke will host the English Champion Manchester City, the best team in England currently. It is going to be an easy outing for Manchester City against German team Shalke who is struggling at 14th in Bundesliga. The victory of City is certain here but it is the matter of how many goals. Also, Shalke don't have good record in the CL recently having knocked out in last 3 ocassions from last 16. City is the safe bet but the odds are too low at 1.29.

But the problem with Shalke is scoring goal and they just scored 6 goals this season in CL. It is least among all teams in last 16. Thus, City will get some goals but not many as Shalke also kept 4 CS this season. I am taking under 3 goals with odds of 2.019 here.
