The next match day of the German Bundesliga is coming up, and for this weekend too, I have picked out an interesting match, where we can also get quite reasonable odds at Betscorum.com. An this time as well, I would like to dig into this game a little deeper to see which team has the better chances.

RB Leipzig against Eintracht Frankfurt

Both teams have established themselves in the upper third of the standings and would like to qualify for the Champions League at the end of the season. Leipzig is still in the better position and currently 5 points ahead of Frankfurt.

But let's take a closer look at the two teams, especially how they started into the second half of the Bundesliga.

And at the end of the article I will show you the odds and how I am going to bet in this game.

RB Leipzig

On the first matchday after the winter break, Leipzig suffered a close 0-1 defeat at home against the table leader from Dortmund, but since then the tendency has been pointing upwards. In two away games, they managed to win convincingly. First they won 4-0 in Düsseldorf, and then 3-0 at Hannover 96.

And also in the DFB Cup this week, the team around coach Ralf Rangnick could beat the VfL Wolfsburg with 1-0 and is now in the quarter finals for the first time in its young history.

Even if the appearance of top striker Timo Werner is still questionable, Leipzig has shown in the last games that it can compensate the loss of this important player quite well. Unfortunately, a few more players will still be missing in this game, Kevin Kampl is still curing his foot injury and central defender Ibrahima Konaté is suspended for this match.

Eintracht Frankfurt

Even though Frankfurt started the second half of the season with a 3-1 win against SC Freiburg, afterwards there were then two smaller setbacks, when the team could not get past a draw in Bremen and at home against Dortmund. Although some had naturally celebrated the 1:1 against the Bundesliga leader like a victory. And in each of these games, the offense could rely on their skills and strike successfully.

Once again Frankfurt's " magical triangle " of Luka Jovic (14 goals), Sébastian Haller (11) and the former Leipziger Ante Rebic (7) hopes to enchant their opponents and add more goals to their impressive balance. This trio has scored around 70 percent of all Frankfurt goals so far this season and has already caused many other teams to break out in a nervous sweat.

And another advantage for Frankfurt could be the break they had this week, since they already had to say goodbye to the DFB Cup last year.

From the previous 5 games against each other, Leipzig has so far the slightly better balance to show. In the last game in the first half the fans sawa 1:1 draw in Frankfurt, but RB Leipzig could win the previous two home games against Eintracht respectively.

And if Leipzig can continue the run of the last three games, this time too, it should be possible to crack the Frankfurt defense and to compete against their strong offensive.

What are the odds?

As always, we take a look at Betscorum.com and we can see that the odds for the home team to win are much lower than for Frankfurt to win away.

If you were to bet on a home win for RB Leipzig, there would be a odds of 1.97and an away win for Eintracht Frankfurt almost doubles the odds to 3.92.

If the game ends in a draw, the odds are the same right now at 3.92. This is another indication that Leipzig is likely to be the favourite in this game.

I also see RB Leipzig in front in this match, also because they have your their own fans behind them, and for this reason I'm betting on a narrow home win. Frankfurt's offense could probably strike again this time, but in the end the home team should manage to win this match.

The bet:

This is my bet today and I will put 10 SCR on a Leipzig win. For me this fixture offers good odds and looks like a quite interesting betting opportunity.

It is not a clear match at all, both teams could have a chance to win but as explained before I am going with RB Leipzig this time.
