The last time we've seen arguably the greatest fighter of all time was at the end of July last year for UFC 214.

The rematch between Jones and Cormier ended in spectacular 3rd round knockout with Jones reclaiming the title he had technicallly never lost...

It is a shame that is the 2nd run through of Jones failing a drug test, and USADA basically cutting his sentence short due to his affect on the UFC as a sport.

He is a money maker, and with Conor McGregor fighting as sporadically as he does, and Ronda Rousey off with WWE ventures, Jones is a necessity in an mma organization struggling to stay at the top.

With the Turinabol found in Jones system, it is assumed he took the extract of a PED without not necessarily knowing. Whether he is guilty or not, all we know is that Jon Jones now has a shortened exclusion from the sport resulting in only a 15 month ban.

The suspension beginning in August of last year will end in the November month turning to December. He will be ready to either take on Alexander Gustafson or Daniel Cormier in rematches with both men... but whatever happens, Jones may have only gotten there by snitching on other martial artists.

It is rumored that Jon made a deal with Jeff Jovitzky and USADA as the contract created for his sentence shortening involves Jones providing information on athletes and there whereabouts in terms of their consumption of steroids and all sorts of performance enhancers.

Cormier even called Jones out on social media that he was offered the same deal from USADA but claims it would only take someone 'weak minded' to do such a thing.

I would lose a lot of respect for Jon if he did in fact give names to reduce his own sentence. With the happenings in his Albequerque camp and the rumblings of rampant steroid use, who even knows what the truth is in this case.

Is Jon Jones' legacy ruined forever? What kind of redemption must he make to refine the career he's built?
