The coach of the IBF super flyweight division champion Jerwin Ancajas said that the fight of Senator Manny Pacquiao and Lucas Matthysse in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 15 will not reach round 12.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo Bacolod, Coach Joven Jimenez announced that only round 9 would be enough.
Jimenez also said that we will expect a knockout from a 39-year-old Pinoy ring icon to a 36-year-old Argentine boxer.
The coach believes that even though Pacquiao is older than three years at Matthysse, his stamina, speed and style still remain.
According to Jimenez, Pacman still has no reason to retire even though some people want him to stop fighting because as long as there is strength, he can still fight the opponents.
In this regard, the coach waits for a good luck wish in the 8-division world champion in connection with the upcoming fight and hope Pacquiao will do everything to please Filipinos.
I am a Filipino and wants to see Manny fight just like before, having a knockout fight to impress all people around the world and tell them that he can still fight.
Pacquiao is not just a great boxer but he is also a kind Filipino citizen. All Filipinos want him to win despite of his consecutive lose. He is still strong and fast. We all know that he can still fight and win. We also want him to see his next fight with Khan.
