With his 100/mph thunderbolts the demonic fast bowler broke it all. Akhtar also known as Rawalpindi Express is considered to be the fastest bowler in the history of Cricket delivering an officially recorded top speed of 161.3 Km/h against England during 2003 world cup. Akhtar boasted the unique ability to come out as a winner against all odds. His career tally reads 178 wickets from 46 Tests at an average of 25.69 and a strike rate of 45.7.

He made his Test debut in November 1997.

Shoaib thrilled his fans and audience all over the world with his breathtaking bowling techniques. Nothing brought him more joy than playing and winning for his fans, but the efforts he put in all the time lead to immense strain on his body and resulted in several injuries. After missing the series against India and west indies Shoaib came back for series against England and finished with 17 wickets , hence silencing the critics.

If there is one moment that would best describe Shoaib , then it has to be his Spell in Asian Test Championship match against India a jam packed Eden garden at kolkata in 1999. Shoaib Akhtar has ten wickets hauls credited to him, these came in home ground against Bangladesh and an away game against NewZealand . He has been awarded the man of the match award twice a test cricket and ten times in limited overs. Having taken more than 400 wickets in International Cricket he is considered to be a Phenomenal Cricketer .
