Good Afternoon to all, first of I want to wish you all have a very Happy Diwali. now lets back on the topic that its a Historic Win for Zimbabwe after a long time like almost 17 years to win the first test match from outside home. its a great achievement for Zimbabwe because they are struggling in international cricket and also people talking that not allow them to play for test matches because of not standard of cricket they playing but yesterday they proved that they are not underdogs as they have potential to beat team and they did so let discuss about this Historic test and how they won it.
Zimbabwe has won the toss and they choose to bat first which is always a good decision in Asia because its hard to play in the fourth inning. Zimbabwe did slow but good start as both openers made the small but useful partnership of 35 runs but then they lost 2 early wickets. Brendon Taylor was also out early which is a huge bonus for Bangladesh because he is one of the greatest batsmen who plays long and scores runs quickly. on the other-side Maskadaza was playing so nicely but he also out after scoring 52 useful runs for his team. when Sikandar Raza out it felt that Zimbabwe will all out under 200 because not must batsman left but Sean Williams and Peter Moor made a brilliant partnership which lifts their inning and took to over 200. Sean Williams was out on 88 by short of just 12 runs from magical hundred. he was out by some extra bounce in a ball which took an edge of its bat and caught in sleep fielder. after williams out Chakabva and moor made one more 50 runs partnership but when chakabva out on 261 then they lost remaining wickets so quickly and they all out on 282 runs which is a good score on this pitch. Peter Moor remains unbeaten 63 runs where from another side Taijul Islam took 6 wickets.
Bangladesh not able to score runs from the beginning because they lose wickets at regular intervals. Bangladesh has a lot of hopes with Imrul Kayes because of an absence of some big players and his brilliant ODI performance but in the test match, he can't able to continue his good form as he out early. Tendai Chatara was a reason for early wickets of Bangladesh batsman as he gave early 3 blow to them from where Bangladesh not able to back up. on one stage it looks that Musfiqur will take out his team from the early blow but he also out by making just 31 runs and at that time his team was at 76-6. Ariful Haque and Mehindy Hassan try to lift the inning but they keep losing wickets and all-out on just 143 runs. from Zimbabwe side, Chatara and Raza took 3 wickets each and from Bangladesh side, Ariful Haque made 41 runs as no one can able to pass half-century.
in the second inning of Zimbabwe, they also lose a wicket early but Masakadaza again looks in good touch. Brendon Taylor made some quick runs but out early so its once again everything on Williams and Maskadaza. they both made useful 50 runs partnership but due to playing a rivers sweep, Maskadaza loses his wicket by LBW. he made 48 runs and after it, they just losing wicket one after another. lots of batsmen got a good start but not able to convert it in the big score as they all out on 183 runs. once again Taijul Islam did a great bowling and took 5 wickets so total he took 11 wickets in the match which is proud feeling for any bowlers. Zimbabwe set 321 runs target for Bangladesh to win the match.
while chasing 321 runs big target, Bangladesh did a good start as they play slowly but very nice because still a lot of time left in the match and their opening batsmen cross 50 without losing a wicket. while opening pair looks dangerous, Sikandar Raza strike for Zimbabwe by did out Liton Das LBW. once he out that problem came again for fall wickets one after another. Imrul Kayes played so well and defensive but he also loses his wicket too. I am so Impressed by debutant Brandon Mavuta as he did a great bowling and took 4 wickets. he has a lot of verities as well as googly. he has that skill that he can beat batsman and take his wicket and I can see his bright feature ahead if he played more matches for his team. Bangladesh all-out on 169 runs and this Zimbabwe won the test match by 151 runs. Imrul Kayes made 43 and Ariful Haque made 38 runs where in Zimbabwe side Mavuta took 4 and Raza took 3 wickets.
It's a Historic win for Zimbabwe because their team is very struggling with some players issue as well as board issue so in that case its a big achievement for them. Bangladesh is also a tough team to beat at their home because they also beat big teams like Australia, England at home so its a great work by Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe has that potential and players who can lift their team in International cricket if they more and more games with their players. Zimbabwe won first game since 2001 from outside their country so it's a long 17 years they have to wait but they finally did. in the home, they won at last before 5 years against Pakistan so it also a first test win in last 5 years. that match was so interesting and I really enjoyed Williams batting and Mavuta Bowling.
