Good Morning to all, as we know one after another team announcing their squad for Cricket World Cup 2019, just before some days, South Africa has also announced their final 15 man squad for Cricket World Cup 2019 Which will play in England. the first time they chose the right players with good balance in site with batsmen, bowlers, and all-rounders. so far when they chose a team for any series or world cup, they always have one of two or three players who are not a good performer but still in the team so let discuss their team in detail and how much chances of them to win this World Cup.
I am really happy with 15 man squad even though there is no Reeza Hendricks and Chirs Morris but they look still good balancing in both batting and bowling department. with the return of JP Duminy, South Africa is very happy because he can play a role as a finisher as well as can do bowling in middle overs so it's a huge benefit for South Africa. South Africa is mostly won matches with the help of bowlers and thus they have good and strong batting unit for the world cup which is good selection according to me.
in the batting department, South Africa has Hashim Amla and Quinton De Kock who are most successful opening pair for South Africa since a long time although Amla is not in good form but De Kock is in Excellent form which is a good thing. where in middle order they have their captain Faf Du Plessis with in form Rassie Van Der Dussen, David Miller and Aiden Markram so its good players in the middle order where Dussen and Miller can change gear any time and can play an aggresive role too. South African Middle order mostly depend on Faf but since Van Der Dussen came in the team he performed well and its a plus point for Faf Du Plessis.
South Africa has good All rounder in this squad with JP Duminy, Andile Phehlukwayo and Dwaine Pretorius who can bowl full over quota as well as can bat too where JP Duminy mostly do finisher role for the team. Andile Phehlukwayo performed well with bat and bowl in the last series against Pakistan and he is now experiance player in international cricket so South Africa expecting more from him as he mostly bowling in death overs. Pretorius is also good seamer and hard-hitting batsman so it gives a good balance in the lower order.
The strongest part of South African team is their bowler with whom they won most of the matches because they have good and quality bowlers and for World Cup, they selected perfect bowlers according to pitch and conditions. South Africa's strongest weapon in their bowling department is Rabada who is the finest bowler of World Cricket as well as they have Ngidi and Styen who can handle fast bowling department. South Africa added new face Anrich Nortje who is a good fast bowler and performed well in T20 so some good pace battery in the squad. in the spin department, they have Tahir and Shamsi who are also good spinner especially Tahir who is in the tremandous form so their bowling is very strong this time.
South Africa is very good and strong on paper and as always in World Cup but they not able to win World Cup so far because they doing so many silly mistakes in World Cup that they lost a match from winning situation and thus they are known as chokers. this time once again South Africa hoping that they will win this World Cup but their chances are very few because their past records are very poor so for me their chances are only 30 % because I can see Australia, India, England, and New Zealand ahead of them.
