The star opening batsman Rohit Sharma has passed the Yo-Yo test. On Wednesday, at NCA Bangalore, he passed this fitness test and now he can go for Britain tour with team India.

Rohit Sharma himself share this information via Instagram. He writes on his Instagram post-

Yo-Yo test is clear, Soon we met in Ireland.

Let be clear that Ajinkya Rahane is selected as a standby player in place of Rohit Sharma. But after the clearance of Yo-Yo test, all these suspense has ended.

Before this, all selected members of the team gave their Yo-Yo test on 15 June. In this test, Rohit Sharma did not participate. Rohit was in Russia as Brand Ambassador of a watch company. He took appointment from BCCI to not participate in Yo-Yo test.

Because this it was not clear why the fitness test date of Rohit Sharma was changing. Except for captain Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma is an important player in the team and incoming England series expectations from him to play some big role in limited overs.

According to BCCI, Rohit wants to give his fitness test after reaching in England but BCCI clearly states that this is a mandatory test to pass in India.
