NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli will not be a part of the final two ODIs of the ongoing series against New Zealand and will also T20 match against New Zealand after teh ODI series is complete.

Considering the workload of Virat Kholi it was very needed break for him as an skipper of the team cause it will be beneficial for the captain to be rested before the home series against Australia.

In absence of Kholi Rohit Sharma will lead the team against New Zealand in ODI and T20 both series from now.

There will be no replacement for Kohli in the squad for the New Zealand series.

India kicked off New Zealand with convincing 8 wicket win in first ODI in Napier on Wednesday.

Prior to the Australia tour, Kohli was rested for the home T20 series against West Indies.He was also giving a break for Asia cup in September and Rogit lead the team to the title in the event held in UAE.

The Indian player have hectic schedule going into the World Cup scheduled to be on May-July.

After the ongoing New Zealand tour India will host Australia for five ODIs starting February 24 and soon after IPL follows.
