Everest Premier League (EPL) 2018 is set to start from the 8th December. EPL is a professional men's T20 cricket tournament in Nepal. It is the third edition of the EPL and with time it is getting better. The best part for this season is the inclusion of more International players and the presence of some big names. Here is the list of 5 overseas players to look out for in the Everest Premier League 2018:
5. Richard Levi
The South African all-rounder will play this EPL from Pokhara Rhinos. He has experience of playing in Indian Premier League (IPL). He has played 13 T20I matches and scored 236 runs. In IPL he played six matches and scored 83 runs. Levi is known for his score of 117 runs against New Zealand in a T20I match, which is his best inning. In 2012 he was picked up in the auction of IPL by Mumbai Indians for $400,000, but he failed to perform.
4. Babar Hayat
The Hong Kong international cricketer is one of the most loved players in Nepal. He has already played in different leagues in Nepal. He has played 24 T20I matches and scored 541 runs. He is an aggressive batsman. He has good experience of playing in Nepal, and he has never failed to entertain the crowd. He is going to play this EPL from Biratnagar Warriors.
3. Kevin O’Brien
Kevin O’Brien is an Irish cricketer who bowls Right Arm Medium Fast, and he is aggressive Right Handed Batsman. He is only Irish player to represent the country 300 times in international cricket. Kevin O'Brien has a record to score the fastest century in the World Cup. He is the vice-captain of Ireland national cricket team for seven years. Brien has scored 775 runs and picked up 58 wickets in 66 T20I matches. He is also the first player to take 100 ODI Wickets for Ireland. He will play the Everest Premier League from Kathmandu Kings.
2. Kyle Coetzer
The Scotish captain Coetzer will play this EPL from Pokhara Rhinos. He is a Right Handed Batsman and can bowl Right Arm Medium Fast. He has scored 1034 runs and got six wickets in 45 T20I matches. He was the captain of Scotland when they beat England by 6 six in an ODI match in June 2018. He is included in the tops ten players to watch ahead of World Cup Qualifier Games.
1. Paul Stirling
The best Irish batsman is set to play for Chitwan Tigers in EPL 2018. He has played 52 T20I matches and scored 1181 runs and also got 15 wickets. He had a great outing in the T10 league UAE recently. He is currently in good form, and fans have expected a lot from him.
Besides the list, the other player to look out for is Rohan Musthafa, John Simpson, Pal Van Makeren, Mohammed Naveed, Paul Coughlin, Muhammed Naveed, Rohan Mustafa, Ravi Inder Singh, and Gaurav Tomar in EPL.
