Nepal has sealed the victory in the T20 series against UAE after winning the third and final T20 match by 14 runs. After facing the 21 runs defeat in the first match of this series, Nepal made a good comeback to win the last two games and seal the victory the T20 series. It is the first ever T20 series victory for Nepal. Nepal also won its first ever ODI series against UAE a week ago.

The final match affected by the rain was reduced to 10 overs each. Batting first, Nepal couldn't start well. Mohammed Naveed bowled a brilliant maiden over and got the wicket of Pawan Sarraf for 0 runs. Once again, the experiment on the opening pair failed for Nepal, this time between Parash Khadka and Pawan Sarraf. Nepal quickly lost another 2 wickets and struggled for 21/3 in 3.3 overs. Khadka and Sandeep Zora showed some resilience taking Nepal to 54/4 after a partnership of 33 runs in of just14 balls before Khadka got out scoring 29 runs from 14 balls with the help of four fours and a six.

Sandeep and Binod Bhandari built up Nepal's innings to 91/5 at the end of the 8.3 overs. Sandeep scored 29 runs from just 11 balls with the help of three sixes before he was out while Bhandari contributed 21 runs from 13 balls. Nepal finished its innings with the total of104 runs in loss of 8 wickets in allocated 10 over. Mohammed Naveed bowled 2 overs for 6 runs including a wicket maiden.

Chasing the target of 105 runs, UAE made a brilliant start. The ever-reliable Sandeep Lamichhane was at receiving end as he conceded 20 runs from the first over of second inning. But Nepal responded with a wicket in the second over. After brilliant innings from Ghulam Shabbir and Shaiman Anwar, UAE at 72/4 was almost winning it requiring 32 runs in 3 overs. But after the excellent over from Karan KC and Avinash Bohora, UAE was left with the uphill task of 20 runs from the final overs. Lalit Rajbansi came to bowl, he kept calm and conceded only 5 runs in the final over to ensure Nepal's victory.

Also, Nepal won the series by T20I series by 2-1 against the rival UAE, its first T20I series win. Nepal also won the ODI series. With this success, Nepal sneaked into the 14th position in the T20I ranking. Karan Kc was elected as Man of the Match for his all-round performance. Avinash Boahara was elected as Man of the Series for his brilliant bowling in the tournament.
