Nepal's teenagers Sandeep Lamichhane ended his first part of Big Bash League in a high note. He has already joined Sylhet Sixers for the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) after playing his final game against Melbourne Renegades in MCG last Tuesday . BPL is going to start from January 5 in Dhaka and Sylhet Sixers will play its first match against Comilla Victorians on January 6. He left BBL because he was already signed by Sylhet Sixers before Stars signed him and as part of the contract he needed to play in Bangladesh.

Youngster Sandeep has been sensational in different franchise league around the world and he continued to prove his worth in BBL. He only got chance to play first 4 matches for Stars but made himself in the list of the leading wicket-taker and most economical bowler. His economy rate in the tournament is 6.81. He also was third among the leading wicket-taker at the end of the 4th round of matches but he is already behind now.

Lamichhane for Melbourne Stars played his first match against Sydney Thunder and picked 2 wickets for 36 runs. In the second match, he was unlucky to end on losing side after picking 3 wickets for 25 runs against Hobart Hurricanes. Melbourne Stars won its first match against Sydney Sixers by a five-wicket, Sandeep picked 2 important wickets for 18 runs. In his final game, he picked a wicket against Melbourne Renegades conceding 31 runs. Overall he picked 8 wickets for 109 runs in 4 matches but it is interesting that 4 of these wickets are captains of all 4 teams.

In his busy schedule, after representing Sylhet Sixers in BPL, he will join Nepal's national team for a 3 ODI and 3 T20 International series from Jan 25 to Feb 3 in UAE. But Big Bash won't end on Feb 3 which means he can join Melbourne Stars again after Feb 3 and play 2 league matches even if they don't qualify for the play-off.
