Melbourne Stars, a team in Australian professional Twenty20 cricket league has signed Sandeep Lamichhane for the upcoming tournament. Lamichhane will make history of becoming the first player for Associate Nation to play in BBL.
The busiest Nepal's youngster is on the rise with success after success. He already has played different professional league around the globes which include Indian Premier League, Carrabian Premier League, Canadian Global T20 League, and Afghanistan Premier League. Now he will also play in Big Bash League for Melbourne Stars. He is also linked with the Bangladesh Premier League, and due to busy schedules, he has taken off his name from T20 Global League South Africa.

Lamichhane has already played grade cricket in Australia in 2016. He was trained under the supervision of former Aussie Captain Micheal Clarke. They played together Hong Kong T20 Blitz. Michale Clark has been his fatherly figure for his success. In 2016, he took 14 wickets in ICC U-19 WorldCup 2016 Bangladesh, the second highest wicket in the tournament bringing him to the limelight. Then, it had been a fairy tale of success after that, both for Nepal and different franchise teams. He played a pivotal role in Nepal's success to gain ODI status.
