T10 League.

International Cricket Council (ICC)  has officially sanctioned the T10 League announced by the T10 League Organizers which could be held at Sharjah starting from November 23 this year. The ICC implemented  two new teams in the league so making them to a strong eight team league and extended it to 10 days long league. 

T10 League is the evolution in the cricket from 50 over format to 10 over format. ICC has announced that only first 10 over game shall be played in the world. Also the international and local players keep interest in this league. 

T10 League Chairman, "Shaji Ul Mulk" said,

"This sanction from ICC for T10 League gives our partners, stakeholders and more importantly the players a much-needed boost. Having said that, it additionally gives us responsibility to ensure we keep growing year-on-year and make this format globally acceptable".

Board member and official spokesperson of Emirates Cricket Board ,"Zayed Abbas" said,

"We shared the vision and belief of the organisers in this format. From here on, it is important to grow the league and the format and ensure that players, teams and the fans get an experience to remember".

This a second edition of this tournament will start from 23 November and it will be a 10-day long game with players slated in September. Different teams in this League has chooses their Icon players which are mentioned below:

Afghanistan spin wizard Rashid Khan with Maratha Arabians , Pakistan's Shahid Afridi with Pakhtoons and Shoaib Malik with Punjabi Legends, England's Eoin Morgan with Kerala Kings, New Zealand's Brendon McCullum with Rajputs, West Indies' Sunil Narine with Bengal Tigers and Darren Sammy with Northern Warriors and Australia's Shane Watson with Karachians.

President of this T10 League "Salman Iqbal" said,

"The sanction from the ICC will only add further shine to the global appeal of the event. We believe that value creation for the new teams will see a positive growth from year one. From four-day league to a ten-day league with more teams and larger pool of international players is a testament of faith shown by fans and stakeholders".
