It was in 1954 when Pakistan Cricket Team first arrived for its first series against England, this series resulted in the equalizer 1-1.
At that time the weather conditions were bad, and as a result the seamers from both of the teams showed good performance, it was Frank Tyson who took 4-35 and Johnny Wardle who took 7-56 from team England and the star from Pakistan team was Fazal Mahmood who took 12 wickets .
