EID_UL_AZHA is the festival of sacrifice . It honors the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God’s command. I am back to the platform after a break of six days, as I was busy with the festival of Eid and played three cricket matches in meantime.

In our state the summer season is the best suited season for cricket, as we experience heavy rains in spring and heavy snow in the winters, you might be guessing which place I am talking of, and I feel proud to announce the name of my place where I am born. I am from a state which is under control of India (The paradise on earth "Kashmir")

These days local cricket fever is at its peak, though boys love other games also but the lack of infrastructure is making the way of players only to cricket as we have got some cricket stadiums in the vicinity. Though these grounds are not maintained well, and we can found stones, ups downs and even trees in the grounds , but the passion for the game is so much in boys, that they never bother of these issues and keep playing.

Today we are going to have a final match of one of the tournaments we played this year and I would like to share a bit of the happenings till date.

It was a tournament played some 15 kms away from the place where I live, there were 64 teams in total who participated in the tournament, it was a knockout tournament any team which lost their match in the tournament never got the chance to get back in. We played five matches there and won all of them, so here we are in the finals of the tournament.

It is a twenty over game, I would love to have your good wishes for the game.
