Indo-Nepal friendly u-19 T20 cricket series has started yesterday in the Mulpani Cricket Ground. This series is organised by the CWT and Nepalaya International in the Mulapani.
In the first day of the series Nepal won by 26 runs against the Indian team. Winning the toss Nepal elected to bat first. Nepal were restricted to 141 runs in 18.5 over. Prem Tamang and Ayushman Bamthakuri started well for Nepal. Nepal were at 60/0 in 6 overs but due to bad performance from middle order batsman Nepal just managed to score 141 runs at 18.5 over.
Chasing the target of 142 runs, India were able to make just 115 runs in loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Nepali bowler Sher Malla alone got 5 cruciel wickets, who was elected Man of the Match.
In this Indo-Nepal series 5 matches will be played in the Mulpani Cricket Ground.
