UAE Tour has become the most memorable tour for Nepali cricket team after their first (T20 & ODI) series win. In both series, Nepal lost their opening match but won the last two games. All the games in the series were competitive and exciting to watch. UAE was the home team, but almost all the supporters were shouting for Nepal. Many Nepalese people are in UAE who are working in different sectors, and maximum of them came there to support their nation. Neplease people love sports and cricket is in their heart. 1. Parash Khadka – 115 Runs in Third ODI

Parash Khadka, the captain of Nepali national cricket team, has played brilliant innings to help Nepal to win this series. His 115 runs in the third ODI helped Nepal to win their first ODI series. In that match, Neplease batsman was losing wickets one after another, but Parash played a brilliant inning. He scored 115 runs in 109 balls with the strike rate of 105.5; he hit 15 fours and a maximum. Nepal was chasing the big target of 255 runs, and as always their opening batsman failed to perform well. He was LBW trapped by Qadeer Ahmed in the 39th over. This performance is the best individual performance in the ODI series between UAE and Nepal. Parash also becomes the first player to hit ODI century for Nepal.

2. Shaiman Anwar – 87 runs in Third ODI

Despite the loss in the ODI series, Shaiman Anwar contributed most from the bat for UAE. In the third ODI Shaiman contributed 87 runs off 70 balls with the help of 9 fours and two maximums. He was caught by Lalit Rajbanis in the bowl of Parash Khadka at 48.5 over. In that match, UAE’s openers were failed to score a run. Both openers, Ashfaq Ahmed and Chirag Suri were a golden duck out. After that middle-order batsman played brilliantly and they made 254 runs. But Nepali players performed brilliantly and won the match. This was the highest score by UAE player in a single game.

3. Sompal Kami – 33/5 in Second ODI

Sompal Kami has become one of the most vital players for Nepal. He is contributing from ball and bat as well. In the second match of the series, he picked up five wickets and helped Nepal to register their most significant ODI victory ever. He destroyed UAE’s top order batting lineup with superb bowling. He bowled 6.3 overs and picked up five wickets conceding just 33 runs. He took the wickets of Ashfaq Ahmed, Chirag Suri, Ghulam Shabbir, Shaiman Anwar, and Zahoor Khan.

4. Sandeep Lamichhane – 24/4 in Second ODI

Nepali star leggie Sandeep Lamichhane took seven wickets in three ODI matches, but he showed impressive performance in second ODI. He bowled four overs including one maiden over and picked up four wickets conceding 24 runs. UAE was restricted for 97 runs after the amazing bowling from Sompal and Sandeep. Sandeep finished as the highest wicket-taker in this series along with Sompal Kami and Imran Haider.

5. Amir Hayat 19/3 in First ODI

Amir Hayat picked up three wickets each in first and second match for UAE. But in the first match he bowled an economical inning, he bowled 7.5 overs including one maiden and picked up three crucial wickets giving just 19 runs. His performance helped UAE to registered win in that match. Nepali batsman struggled to play against Haider in the first and second match. He was among the top performer for UAE in this series.
