In the Women's T20 Smash, Nepal registered their fourth win defeating Thailand A by a huge margin of 9 wickets. Now Nepal has advanced to the semifinal of the Women's T20 Smash as the group winner. Nepal has shown a great team performance in this tournament.
Earlier today, Thailand won the toss and elected to bat first. But they were able to make just 19 runs losing all the wickets in 15.5 overs. For Thailand six batwomen failed to open their account, Nepali bowlers gave seven extra runs. Arati Bidari grabbed four wickets in four overs including one maiden over, Indu Barma and Sarita Magar also picked up two wickets each. Captain Rubina Chhetri and Sonu Khadka also got one wicket each. Chasing the low target of just 20 runs, Mamata Chaudhary contributed eight runs, Neri Thapa and Dali Bhatt scored 5 and two-run not out, and Nepal won the match in just 3.3 overs.
In this tournament, Nepal has defeated Malaysia, China, Uae and now Thailand A. Now they will face Indonesia in the semi-final of this tournament.
