The cricketer-turned politician was all-time favourite when Pakistan went to polls and he must be aware that his 18 predecessors have not managed to complete their five-year term.

Though the consensus opinion is that Imran Khan has the army’s support, Pakistan people have rejoiced the change and in front were the cricket fans and players of the country who took to Twitter to celebrate the victory.

Imran will also be closely watched by cricket enthusiast from Indian and Pakistan as it is hope the change will bring both the countries closer.

From Shoaib Akhtar to Shahid Afridi and from Mohammed Hafeez to Saeed Ajmal the entire cricketing fraternity of Pakistan hailed the new innings of the World Cup winning captain on their Twitter handles.
