The former Pakistani Legend. WAQAR Younis played for Pakistan in 87 tests and 262 ODI's. He was known as the one who could really reverse the swing at lightening speeds. He took 373 Test wickets and 416 ODI wickets in his career but during his career he was one of the most dominating and fast bowlers of that time.

Waqar had the best strike-rate (43.4) among bowlers with more than 200 Test wickets - a record that was broken by Dale Steyn. He was known as the Burewale express with another one of the Pakistani guns who was known for his speed, swing and accuracy, the great Wasim Akram. This was the most fearful bowling pair cricket has ever seen. The two W's were formidable assets for the history of Pakistan cricket.

Waqar used to bowl full and fast, aiming for the batsman's toes as opposed to bowling short and was thus named as the toe crusher.

I have not watched much of him but i hear from my father that once England board of cricket refused to send their team to Pakistan ahead of the world cup because they feared that their batsmen would come back with broken toes, such was the fear of WAQAR Younis and Wasim Akram.

But Pakistani former skipper and a great bowler had an unpleasant end as Pakistan has a catastrophic World cup in 2003 under his leadership and as a result he announced his retirement from cricket.

WAQAR was appointed as the head coach of Pakistan cricket in 2014 and is still serving his country in that department.
