In a low scoring match, Nepal Police Club (NPC) defeats Tribhuwan Army club (TAC) bt 50 runs. The match was played in the slow wicket. TAC won the toss and they elected to field. NPC were dismissed in 161 runs in 48.4 overs. Though the target was low but TAC could not chase that target and they were dismissed in 111 runs in 42.3 overs.

In the Group B, TAC is almost there in the semi final. TAC has 3 wins from 4 matches while NPC has 3 wins from 3 matches. After the match between NPC and State 2, it will be clear who will reach the semis of the tournament. The run rate of NPC is 1.47 while run rate of State 2 is 0.868. It will be tough for State 2 to win the match by a big margin in order to be selected for the semis.

Chasing the target of 162 runs, TAC continuously lost their wicket from the beginning. Hari Bahadur Chauhan scored 34 runs, Raju Rijal and Rohit Paudel scored 16 runs for TAC. The left arm spinner took 3 wickets, Aarif Sheikh and Dipendra Airi took 2 wickets each for NPC. Sagar dhakal and Pawan Sharaff took a wicket each. NPC was on the field without their regular fast bowler Lalit Bhandari.

On the first innings, NPC made 161 runs by losing their all wickets in 48.4 overs. At a stage, NPC lost 3 wickets in just 24 runs. Sunil Dhamala played his first match in the tournament and he scored only 5 runs in the match. Amit shrestha who scored century in the previous match could score only 4 runs and Anil Shah scored 13 runs before he walked towards the pavilion. Dipendra Airi and Dilip Nath made a partnership of 37 runs. Dilip scored 14 while Dipendra scored 29 and Kushal Bhurtel scored 5 runs.

At a stage, NPC were 94/7 in 31.3 overs. Manjeet shrestha and aarif sheikh build a solid partnership for NPC to reach 150 runs. Aarif scored 34 runs in 54 balls with 2 fours. He was out in 46th over. Manjeet Shrestha was unbeaten in 36 runs in 62 balls. He hit 3 fours and 1 six. Shahab alam took 4 wickets. Karan KC took 2 wickets. Jitendra Mukhiya, Sushan Bhari and Kushal Malla took a wicket each for TAC.
