The city of Paris will for the first time hold a sports demonstration after they are chosen to host the 2024 Olympics. Sports demonstration activities are centered at the foot of the Paris City Eiffel Tower.
The plan, one of the sports activities based in the City of Paris is a race as far as 2,024 meters or about two kilometers with the route set under the legendary tower. The event will take place this weekend, which is on Sunday.
The activity was planned to be attended directly by the President of the French National Olympic Committee, Denis Masseglia; Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo and President of the 2024 Olympics Tony Estanguet. The three were also scheduled to symbolically open the event.
The city of Paris was in the spotlight after the 2016 European Cup. At that time sports activities were also centered in front of the Hotel de Ville and at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
