Indonesian athlete Emilia Nova managed to donate a silver medal at the 2018 Asian Games. Going down on the 100 meters hurdles running at the Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) on Sunday (08/26/2018) Emilia appeared quite impressive.

The record time of the 20-year-old runner is 13.33 seconds. He was 0.13 seconds adrift of the South Korean representative, Jung Hye-lim who successfully won the gold medal.

Emilia didn't even expect to get a silver medal. In fact, he could not believe he could win because of his many competitors.

"Alhamdulillah, I got a medal, I didn't expect to be happy because the measured sport was really happy because it was hard to get a medal. There was only more motivation because there was a lot of support," Emilia Nova said after the match.

"When I entered the field, I was immediately encouraged to be more excited because it was more crowded than yesterday. Of course that was my motivation," he said.

Emilia's silver medal should be appreciated. Because in addition to being young, the 2018 Asian Games will be its first experience.

Not to mention Emilia's preparations ahead of the Asian Games are less than optimal. He was desperate because of the pain he suffered.

"For the process Emil lived two weeks, but was sick in the legs. Exercising until crying because of illness but a week has improved. Because the match also Emil forgot this pain," concluded Emilia Nova.
