So for those unaware, due to COVID & recent world events, a few days ago NaughtyDog & PlayStation has understandably decided to changed the annual Outbreak day to “The Last Of Us Day”.

For me The Last Of Us & The Last Of Us Part II has dynamically changed the medium of storytelling through the art of video games. The ability to tell a story about love, hate and revenge in a world that is so beautifully crafted yet terrifying at the same time. The Last Of Us Part II, whilst many were a bit shocked at the games direction and story but understandably so, however the Last Of Us Part II for me was incredible yet brutal journey. It is a game about hate and revenge and what’s morally right and wrong, it’s extremely beautiful yet brutal and violent.

The Last Of Us Part II is definitely in my opinion the GOTY for Sony and is definitely the swan song of this generation.
