Sonic Boom Tournament is a tournament by mostly fighting games like Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, Dragon Ball FighterZ , King of Fighters XIV, Guilty Gear Xrd REV2 and Ultra Street Fighter IV: Teams 3 vs 3. A tournament where it can test your skills and techniques by matching up different nationalities.

This tournament will happen around July 7-8 and it is the 5th edition of the tournament. It will be held in Spa La Princesa Hotel, in Alcorcón/Mólstoles.

Registration

Street Fighter V Game - Image Source

To be able to be one of the participant of the event you need to pay some registration fee depending to what game you will participate into :

Street Fighter V - 25€ registration fee

Street Fighter V teams 5 vs 5 - 20€ per team registration fee

Ultra Street Fighter IV teams 3 vs 3 - 10€ per team registration fee

Tekken 7 - 25€ registration fee

Dragon Ball FighterZ - 20€ registration fee

King of Fighters XIV - 10€ registration fee

Guilty Gear Xrd REV2 - 10€ registration fee

60% of the collected registration fees will directly go to prize pool. If you want to just spectate on the players then no registration fee will be collected but you can play free on their provided free play setup.

Prizes and Awards

Amount of prize money are different to games wherein the more the popular games it is, the bigger the prize money.

Street Fighter V :

1st  prize : 60% of all Street Fighter V registration fee + trophy (Estimated prize is 1350 €)

2nd prize : 30% of all Street Fighter V registration fee (Estimated prize is 675 €)

3rd prize : 10% of all Street Fighter V registration fee (Estimated prize is 225 €)

Tekken 7 :

1st prize = 60% of all Tekken 7 registration fee + trophy (Estimated prize is 630 €)

2nd prize = 30% of all Tekken 7 registration fee (Estimated prize is 315 €)

3rd prize = 10% of all Tekken 7 registration fee Estimated prize is 105 €)

Dragon Ball Fighter Z :

1st prize :  60% of all Dragon Ball Fighter Z registration fee + trophy (Estimated prize is 504 €)

2nd prize : 30% of all Dragon Ball Fighter Z registration fee (Estimated prize is 252 €)

3rd prize : 10% of all Dragon Ball Fighter Z registration fee (Estimated prize is 84 €)

KING OF FIGHTERS XIV :

1st prize : 60% of all KING OF FIGHTERS XIV registration fee + trophy (Estimated prize is 57.6 €)

2nd prize : 30% of all KING OF FIGHTERS XIV registration fee (Estimated prize is 28.8 €)

3rd prize : 10% of all KING OF FIGHTERS XIV registration fee (Estimated prize is 9.6 €)

GUILTY GEAR XRD REV2 :
