Daybreak Game Company announced that it will launch MMOFPS 'Planet Side Arena' for PC, the latest work of MMOFPS 'Planet Side', on January 29, 2019,

The new Planet Side Arena is equipped with a 'Massive Crash' mode for up to 250 to 250 players. It also supports Battle Royale mode, which can be soloed or triple squad, and Team Battle mode, which is divided into three teams of 34 players.

Inside the game, the class system (assault, medic, engineer) which is characteristic of the "Planet Side" series and various ride systems including ATV, tank, etc. are introduced as well. As SF background, it is possible to fly a high jump using a jet pack or a little flight, which provides a wider range of strategy than the existing FPS.

'Planet Side' is the first MMOFPS released in 2003. The first multiplayer FPS system was implemented, and it was popular with ten bottles and implementations, three occupations before occupation, various engagements in the land and sea, and unique scale and strategy. His successor, PlanetSide 2, also served domestic service in 2014 through the next game, but shut down the service after one year of formal service.

SOE was acquired by Columbus Nova in 2015, and SOE's own IP and service games, including PlanetSide, led to daybreak.

Currently, PlanetSide Arena is available in two packages: Steam, Season 1 Pass, Assault Armor, Sanctuary Assault Edition, and Legacy Riarena Edition.
