Though a bit different now, Assassin 's Creed was the representative of the infiltration action game along with Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell. The prominent features of the series are real-time, infiltration, and adventure elements. The player must become an assassin, blend into the crowd, clear the border, and assassinate the target. Did 'Assassin's Creed: Rebellion' do this properly on mobile?

The game begins with the main character of the main series, "Ezio Auditore" following his target while meeting a massacre in Spain.

All missions are conducted in a separate stage. For each mission, the player must touch each of the divided rooms as a cartoon cut for each turn. It is a stage clearing condition that passes the enemy, the trap, the detour, etc. placed in each room and acquires the hidden target somewhere in the map. After hearing the explanation, did you notice the oddity somewhere? Yes, the existing real-time stealth action was changed to a turn-based strategy battle.

What kind of 'Assassin's Creed' has changed into a turn-based strategy game? Once the heroes of the assassination team are assigned to a group of three on one stage, each character has its own position, such as tanker, assassin, and support. It is at the core of the game to clear the stage using the hero's functions in the right place.

A typical turn-based strategy As in the "X-COM" series of combat games, the success rate of actions to be taken by each position is displayed. The assassin is in the hiding place, the support person is highly successful in removing the trap, and it is effective to put the tanker into the battle with many enemies. Or if you can pass quietly through assassination or hiding, it is a good idea to do so. It may also be best to remove traps as a support hero, or provide heal, buffs to other characters. It turned out to be a turn-based strategy game, but I was able to feel that I was maintaining the legitimacy of 'Assassin's Creed' because I focused on infiltration and assassination.

Game difficulty is never easy, so you need to be careful every turn. In fact, I made choices that did not fit the target and role groups, such as hitting the tankers or engaging support forces, and I was able to confirm that all the characters were dead at some point. In addition, the use of the inherent skills assigned to each hero, whether the stage was cleared or not. So when challenging the stage for the current level, it was clear after one or two failures. This made it possible to see that the game had a moderate difficulty design that was neither too easy nor difficult.

As you go through the main story, the stage recommendation level begins to differ from my assassin level. From that point on, it is impossible to attack the stage due to the difference in the ability of the enemy. If this is the case, you will need to level up through three routes: general, dairy, and looting missions. It is the level design that leads the player to the subquest naturally and challenges the main story again.

It supports the auto progress function like other mobile games, but it does not have high utilization level. It is difficult to clear the main stage which is suitable for the current level. Instead, I was able to feel comfort when I used it to collect submissions of low difficulty. For the convenience of the user, it was implemented in a way that does not hurt game play motivation.

This game is far from real-time action, the essence of the original series. Though it brought the theme of assassination from the existing series, it does not taste the mission to run in the tension of the assassination action. It is an independent turn-based strategy game that brings the setup of 'Assassin's Creed'.

However, if you delay the disappointment of not being able to see the existing 'Assassin' Creed 'and play it directly, you can feel different charm. It changes the genre according to the mobile environment, but it has a good base as a strategy game. Particularly, level design such as role group combination, moderate difficulty, growth factor, comfortable auto function, distribution of main and submissions weight is good. As with any mobile game, it was quite different from the all-encompassing Auto-Skill game, and it did not hurt to play the entire content without charge.
