Top Slovenian cyclist Matej Mohorič was inches away from winning the second stage at the Germany Tour yesterday. 2nd stage was leading the cyclists from Bonn to Trier. In a final sprint, Maximillian Schachmann was left with enough space to claim the stage.

This wasn't the case today since Mohorič made certain to have enough room and distance to sprint to the victory. In the end, he was a bike's length in front of Nils Politt (Katusha-Alpecin) and Pieter Vanspeybrouck (Wanty-Groupe Gobert).
