Extreme Choroni Festival 2018

If anything we have to highlight Venezuela are its landscapes, a tropical paradise with beautiful beaches, blue waters and white sand, but not all beaches are a sea of calm, some invites you to explore the fun and adrenaline of sports such as surfing and the paddle.

Paddle is a sport that is also called "paddle surf" or stand up paddle (SUP), consists of sliding with a standing surfboard and help with a paddle for the advance, its origin is Polynesian and Hawaiian villages it's Ku Hoe He'e NALU that would be something like standing up, navigating a wave or shoveling.

At first glance it looks very simple but the truth is that if it requires strength and dexterity, in addition to going fast against strong waves is not easy, this year was celebrated in Choroni the "extreme festival choroni 2019" where one of the main competitions was in paddle, it consisted of crossing 12 kilometers of open water in this modality, Choroni is a paradise, without a doubt it lends itself to this sport, besides that in many places they provide the service to clients so that they begin their steps in this sport modality, either to sail peacefully on the shores of this beautiful place or to participate in competitions like this.

In the festival they also included sports such as swimming 3k in open water, showing that there are many people with sports talent in Venezuela, and that besides having beautiful beaches we also have sports.
