After I wrote that Dacia R4 rally car was entered for Monte Carlo Rallye 2020, there is another R4 rocket pocket announced this week from Oreca team. It is small Fiat 500X Rallye2 R4 Oreca Kit.
It is four wheel drive car with power of around 260bhp and costs around 160 000€.
Driver will be super fast Raphaël Astier from France and that means a good promotion for the Oreca team and new Fiat rally car which wasn't seen on rally stages of the World Rally Championship for probably 10 or more years.
Just to remind you that last four wheel drive rally car from Fiat was super successful Fiat Grande Punto Super 2000, one of the first rally cars from Super 2000 class which was also tested by late Colin McRae in 2004.
It will be very interesting to see new R4 machinery and the times against R5 class and other similar vehicles.
