First and foremost, Happy New Year Scorumian and all fantasy managers. It was a great year with Scorum and all you wonderful people who supported me to grow here. I wish all of you a wonderful journey with Scorum, we are all going to the moon together.

Not much rest again, we finished GW 20 yesterday, and GW 21 will start from tomorrow. It is the final game week of the festive season. After this game week, fantasy football will resume like before, a game week per week. It was yet another high scoring game week for everyone, but not me, I scored below average. The average was 50 points for this week, I was limited to 48 points, not having Liverpool and United's cover cost me a lot.

Going into captaincy, Kane was the favorite as Spurs welcomed Wolves at Wembley stadium with 20% of managers opting him. Spurs having scored 11 goals in past 2 game weeks only scored once against Wolves. Kane got the only goal for Spurs assisted by in-form Son. Wolves came back in last 10 minutes to defeat Spurs by 3-1 after the goal from Boly, Costa, and Jiménez. Doherty chipped in an assist again.

Now going to the big match this week, Salah was captained by 18.6% managers as Liverpool welcomed Arsenal. Such is the form of Salah and Liverpool that they thrashed helpless Arsenal by 5-1. Firmino owned by 16% managers scored hat-trick for Liverpool. Salah collected a goal, an assist and 2 bonus points for his 40% managers. Mane got a goal too. Arsenal's forward Aubameyang and highest scorer among striker only managed 13 shots in 70 minutes before he was subbed, 6 of them coming in kick-off.

Hazard was the third most-captained player with the captaincy of 14% but he failed after a double-figure score last week. Against Crystal Palace, Hazard's owner only got 3 points as Kante scored the only goal in the match assisted by David Luiz. It is the first assist for David Luiz this season, who also has scored once this season. Alonso conceded yellow cards once again, his fourth yellow of the season. Alonso now has more yellow than the goal and assist(3 assists) in last 16 game weeks after starting the season on a high with a goal and 5 assist on first 4 games.

Aguero finally got his first goal after making a return in a 3-1 win for City against Southampton. David Silva also got a goal while Sterling and Bernando getting an assist each. In other matches, Brighton, Burnley, Fulham, and Cardiff won their respective matches while Watford and Newcastle played a 1-1 draw.

Now coming to the final match of the game week, Manchester United defeated Bournemouth. The sensational form of Pogba continued, and I made a wrong choice by not bringing him although I had 2 free transfer. I am bringing him this week. Pogba now has 4 goals and 4 assists in last 4 games. Against Bournemouth, he got 2 goals, an assist, and maximum bonus points which makes him the highest scoring player for this week with 18 points. Rashford also got a goal and an assist for United while Martial and Herrera collected an assist each. Lukaku after missing 2 previous games came back to score, and he should start regularly from next game week.

@ivan4eg is a winner of this game week after a brilliant score of 79 points. He played wildcard this game week and made some good transfer, one of which includes transferring in Pogba and captaining him for 36 points. He also had Salah, Jiménez, Doherty, and Kane to chip in some important points. Congratulation my friend and the award has been delivered.

Another high scoring game week and I missed the average score by 2 points after managing only 48 points. Thanks to David Luiz for his important 12 points for bringing me close to average score.

This is how the top 14 looks so far after the conclusion GW 20. @oldem28 is still at the top after scoring 55 points. @awd2, the mind behind Scorumbet and Scorum fantasy climbs to number 2 after brilliant 66 points. He also activated his wildcard and got the MVP of the week, Paul Pogba.

How was your fantasy GW 20?
