Finally, the festivals are over as the premier league goes to the long break of 10 days. All of you must be tired of the transfer, captain change, score check, standing check, blah, and blah on daily basis. Nevertheless, it was fun. Welcome to the review for GW 21.

Facts:

  • Average points: 54 (pretty High, thanks to Kane and Aubameyang )
  • Most Transferred in: Pogba (Big fail after he misses the open goal)

  • Most Captained: Harry Kane

  • MVP: Troy Deeney

  • Most Captained among live teams:
    1. Aubameyang 20.7% (a poor game but still got a goal and an assist but no BP)
    2. Hazard 19.2% ( flopped)
    3. Kane 17.7% ( Good game with a goal, an assist, and 3 bonus point)

Dream Team

  • Angus Gunn (11 Points): made a debut against giant Chelsea, ended up with CS, 6 saves and maximum bonus points. He comes at 4.3 million, can be good assets but Soton can't be trusted for this season.

  • Pereira (12 Points): Played upfront along with Vardy, instrumental in a win against Everton. An assist, CS, 3 BP for him.

  • Patrick van Aanholt (12 points): As Pereira, helped Palace defeat Wolves away from home.

  • Shane Duffy (8 points): Got his fourth goal of the season against West Ham in a 2-2 draw

  • Heung-Min Son (13 points): Fourth double-figure score in last 6 matches which include 6 goals and 5 assist. Rotation doubt but surprisingly not rotated enough for this season. But will play his last match against United before going for Asia Cup. Don't buy him now, it is too late.

  • Ryan Fraser (12 points): He is having a great season, got another double-figure after a thrilling 3-3 draw against Watford.

  • Sema (11 points): Not a regular starter but gets his first goal and second assist for this season which was enough for him to get into the list for this GW.

  • Troy Deeney (15 points): he had hands on all 3 goals that Watford scored against Bournemouth which keeps him as the highest scoring player for this gw.

  • Arnautovic (13 points): 2 quick goals against Brighton to help West Ham get a point against Brighton. He got into scoresheet after 10 GW.

  • Marcus Rashford (12 points): What a time he is having under a new manager Solskjaer. He is the central figure of the United attack, and after another emphatic performance, he gets a goal and an assist.

  • Harry Kane (12 points): like Rashford, he also had a goal and an assist in a comfortable win against Cardiff.

Some good news here finally after waiting for 21 game weeks for me and for my friend @writingamigo as we are combined winner for the game week with 75 points. It was a high scoring game week the highest point was not that high. Talking about @writingamigo, he was not lucky with his captain pick but a big score from Deeney, Rashford, and Son helped him to win this game week. Congratulations @writingamigo, your rewards had been delivered.

For me, it was a strange week too. A big score up front and at the back but nothing from the mid. I got my captain picks correct and my bench correct. Having benched Pereira for his couple of big score, I finally have him in the starting line up for his big 12 points. My transfer-in of the week, Pogba blanked too.

Once again, I am stuck forever at the number 9 but I am happy that I was able to reduce the gap. This is how the top 14 looks so far after the conclusion GW 21. @oldem28 is still at the top after scoring 42 points, still a big lead.

How was your fantasy GW 21?
