Arsenal goalkeeper, Petr Cech was the star of the day as Arsenal earned a hard fought victory over Everton to make it five victories in a row.

The Gunners having lost their two opening matches of the season have won their subsequent four matches coming into the game and would be glad they did get a win, more so, with a clean sheet.

Lucas Torreira finally got his first start since joining in the summer, replacing young French midfielder, Matteo Guendozi in the staring eleven.

Everton made the early threats with Richarlison and Theo Walcott tormenting the Arsenal defence but thanks to Cech who came to the party, denying both attackers.

It took 56 minutes before Arsenal finally got the breakthrough.

Aaron Ramsey picking up the ball from Ozil before threading a pass into the path of Lacazette who touches the ball to position himself in a great position and rocketed a powerful shot into the top right corner, leaving Pickford with no chance at a save.

Three minutes later, the Gunners doubled their lead through a regular face, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

A swift counterattacking play form the Gunners saw a three on two situation with the same combination of Ozil and Ramsey at work again.

The Welsh man skillfully back-heeled the pass from Ozil unto Aubameyang who wasted no time is slotting past Pickford in goal.

The goal however would have been ruled out in a situation where the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) was in use as Aubameyang was clearly shown by replay to be in an offside position.

Although Everton were wasteful in front of goals, credit must still be given to that Cech for his heroics, making six very crucial saves in the game to keep the scoreline in Arsenal's favour.

Cech denies Richarlison with a sliding tackle.

Aubameyang and Lacazette have both scored three times in the last five games they've started together. It seems Unai Emery might have found a right combination of using the pair.

It is also Arsenal's first clean sheet under the new manager.
