Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne held a tribute ceremony for Diego Maradona, the Legend who recently passed away from Heart attack. Insigne scored the first goal in the 9th round of Serie A in 2020-21 season against AS Roma held at San Paolo, Italy. After scoring the opening goal in the 31st minute of the first half, Insigne held a ceremony to mourn the legend with a Jersey , which Maradona wore during his active moment with the club, showing Maradona's name and number 10.

This match was the first league home game played by Napoli after Maradona demise, and also the entire Napoli's club prepared a lot to mourn their unforgettable Legend Maradona.

Napoli, who had not won the league since the team was founded in 1926, won the league twice after Maradona joined the team, they honoured him by installing a large hanging image of Maradona in the stadium and created a memorial space.
