According to Marca, Lautaro Martinez has a buyout clause of around $139 million in his current contract. The clause will thus also be passed on in the new contract extension, which FC Barcelona will still have to pay if they want to acquire the Argentine national team player.

However, this buy-out clause does not apply to Juventus. Inter have secured themselves against a possible switch to rivals, as the agreement is that Juventus must pay $250 Million to buy Lautaro Martinez free from Inter. Thus, Juventus will have to dig deeper into their wallets if they want the Argentine in the future. However, Lautaro Martinez himself puts the lid on the rumors of a possible transfer.

The 23-year-old Argentine has contributed 9 goals in Serie A for Inter this season.
