The 47-year-old Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, took over the helm after Frank Lampard back in January, which has been a fantastic investment for the London club. The German was able to cement his positive effect on the club over the weekend, which equaled two manager records.

The first record is to be found under the auspices of Chelsea. Thomas Tuchel has played with Chelsea for ten clean-sheets, which is an equalization of the former Chelsea manager, Luiz Felipe Scolari, and his record in the 2008/2009 season. It therefore requires just one more clean-sheet if Tuchel is to surpass Scolari in the history books.

In addition, the clean sheet and the 1-0 away win over West Ham were not the only record Tuchel broke at the weekend. The victory meant that Chelsea and Tuchel have not lost in ten away games in a row, which is the second time that a new manager in the Premier League has managed to do so since Claudio Ranieri did so with Leicester in the 2015/2016 season.

Chelsea have won eight of their last ten away games. Should Tuchel break the record and enter the history book of Ranieri, then Chelsea will not lose away to Real Madrid tomorrow in the first semi-final of the Champions League.
