I never liked MU jersey because of a huge and terrible Chevrolet sign. And I’m not the only one. Lot’s of fans are angry with the fact that their favorite team T-shit is decorated with a large cross just in the middle. The protests don’t lead to anything. The sponsor has paid a lot of money and think that they have the right to mutilate the jersey. And this season the designers tried to did their best despite this terrible Chevrolet cross. Manchester United announced that the away kit in 2018/19 season will be pink.

Confirmation came through the Manchester Evening News newspaper. The club stylized the message under the newspaper of the last century.

The color of the away kit is a reference to the weekly newspaper The Football Pink, which was printed by the same publisher as the Manchester Evening News. The newspaper appeared in the 1970s and on light pink paper on Saturdays. The paper was pink because it once was necessary to print the publication urgently. And there was no paper except  pink one.

The newspaper was wildly popular, but with the Internet development it was ruined . In 2007 The Football Pink closed. "The Pink returns, "- the club announced the news in such way today.

But not all the fans are happy. Yep, it’s not so brutal as many expected. But all the arguments are full of stereotypes. Pigs, girls, pajamas…What else?

All the previous kits were so boring that I even can’t name them just simple. Boring is more correct word. White, blue and black colors. Some people still think that a black one is better than pink. I’ve thought up a life hack for such people. Tell them it’s not pink but peach or coral.

Don’t you think it’s fantastic? The color is so nice that I’m even sorry, that I’m not MU fan. It’s stylish, fashionable and at the same time the roots go back to history. Actually all the MU kits in this season have a clear historical reference. Black stripes on the home kit symbolize the railway track. Initially United was a Lancashire-Yorkshire Railway team. A third kit of dark blue color is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the victory in the Champions Cup. MU was the first English club to win this trophy in 1968. the Team won in the jerseys of a similar color. They beat Benfica at Wembley.

Officially the pink form will be on sale on September 13. You can buy it in the fan shops of United and adidas stores. The guest shirt will cost £ 109.95. The price for the complete set (T-shirt, shorts and leggings) is £ 192.85. Manchester United have the most expensive form this season in the Premier League, and the average jersey price for the Premier League has exceeded £ 100.

Adidas has already designe pink jerseys to Real Madrid in 2014. And in 2011 Nike colored Juventus in pink color.
