Soccer team "The Blue Wave" from the Bay in Denmark plays to win!
Saturday September 14th, 2018 at 14.00 GMT +2, a Danish soccer team in 2. division called "The Blue Wave" picks up the ball from where they left it 14 days ago, as the last week's game had to be postponed due to a sudden need from players in 2. division to represent the national soccer team of Denmark. 5 players from the opponent team Tarup/Paarup had agreed to play in the national red white colors in what could be considered a chance of a life time to most.
What it meant was a delay of the game against Jammerbugt FC which is the official name of The Blue Wave and therefore a no game week for the blue-shirts. The relax is over when the today's opponent Kjellerup IF come visit the home turf "Sparekassen Vendsyssel Arena". On this field more points have to be made in order to stay in the top of the division where they share a second place at present.
Kjellerup IF came to visit last time back in October 2017, where Jammerbugt FC made it a safe home win of 3-0. The guests have had three defeats in a row prior to today's match so they will come hungry for win.
It means nothing can be taken for granted no matter it's top against bottom, and Jammerbugt FC will make sure they don't, says Jammberbugt strong defender Ruben Winther.
We enter this game fresh and in top shape
We are still undefeated, and with a victory today it starts to look really good, so we will go out to chase the win. We have had two weeks rest and managed to recharge our batteries. We have also managed to have all players recover from injuries adding an internal competition to the table. No matter the good situation we are going to pull up our sleeves ready to work and stay humble when we enter each game, Ruben Winther continues.
We need to maintain our strong defense and become very cynical in front of the goal. Ruben finishes off by saying: As always at home we must bring everything we have got to control the game from start to finish. If we do, I am sure we get those three points against Kjellerup.
With this introduction of today's game lets circle back to the events that led to the last week relax and also the reason to mention Jammerbugt FC in an article on the international Sports media platform Scorum.
Danish red/white national team represented by 2nd division players
Last week in Denmark the Danish FA called DBU, the official danish representative to UEFA was unable to agree with the union for the players called "Spillerforeningen" in regards to terms and conditions of a renewed contract for when these players come represent the Danish colors at home or abroad.
Because of this dispute and lack of agreement a friendly match against the Slovak Rep. on Wednesday September 5th. was about to be cancelled in the last minute with lots of problems ahead, it was avoided however, when a sudden accept from players from the Danish Futsal national team and basically 3rd level amateur soccer league in Denmark also called 2. division decided to step in and represent the red and white colors.
Disaster avoided, a bad taste everywhere in media and among the general public myself included as to why it needed come this far. It was in so many ways a great experience to players who may never again have such a chance to play before the world representing their country in red and white.
Sponsorship and agreement with Jammerbugt FC
Anyways, this leads me to the point why mention Jammerbugt FC. The team in fact is my local team you might say, as I played on same team some 38 odd years ago and for around 20 years on and off. Back then it was called Jetsmark IF, initiated in 1973 and was the team created by the two neighboring towns with each their own soccer clubs called Pandrup and Kaas. They have moved a bit since then and become much more professional in their approach to everything even though the setup is still very much based on amateur status.
I have had no time really to go visit in the last 4 years working on building up OpenLedger, now however, with the entry to Scorum it made me feel the urge to reconnect to the club and also to discuss a possible sponsorship, and with me it does not take long to act when I get a good feeling about something and as its been close to a month now having announced my presence on Scorum in the form of the account @bloggersclub, it is some 12 days ago I sat down and discussed what kind of sponsorship to pick. I decided to go for a general partnership one as well as one to support the U10 boys team to have an overall good exposure of OpenLedger.
6 days ago I signed the agreements and as we went through this whole process it came to me why not suggest the club to join Scroum actively by setting up account and having various contributors start writing about their weekly input from being actively involved in a Danish soccer club with great ambitions.
Concept behind
With the yesterday article from Jammerbugt FC they have announced their presence on Scorum, and I hope to help them organize the idea I came up with having some four articles surface weekl.
Two articles with input from the international players on the team called the Players Corner which are at the moment the US/German player Jannik and the Spanish player Javi. The are expected to support english and native languages Spanish and German.
One with the coach called Coaches Corner with Bo Zinck mentioned in both above pictures and one called Stats and History from the same guy who is also writing weekly on their website called Thomas Jansen.
It is not intended to be fixed who are the contributors as the flow is intended to go with the development of the club itself, so all contributors are writing on the same account on Scorum called @jammerbugtfc.
I believe it is a great idea, which will allow other teams in Denmark to follow this trend from the future exposure and sign up as well, and then have it move onto other countries, and well then as I have said throughout my adult life - Sky is the Limit!
