The power of money often speaks volumes in football. Clubs that have unlimited funds can of course buy the players they want. Even tempting offers can sometimes tempt a club to sell its best players, even though the player is not necessarily willing to leave the club he loves.

Iker Casillas
Iker Casillas joined Real Madrid in his teens in 1990 and was then able to become the main goalkeeper there. The former Spanish national team goalkeeper won many titles with Los Blancos.
The Family confirmed that Casillas was forced out of the club by Florentino Perez and his mother claimed that Madrid had treated his child badly.
"Iker has suffered psychological distress and they treat it differently from other players," Mari Carmen said.
Angel Di Maria
Angel Di Maria managed to bring Real Madrid into the Champions League in 2014. However, he had to leave Los Blancos because to give space to James Rodriguez who was brought in at a high cost.

Andy Carroll
The England striker impressed for Newcastle which attracted Liverpool's interest in signing him. Got a tempting offer, the Magpies then forced Carroll to submit a transfer request.
"Director manager Derek Llambias asked me to submit a transfer request, so I was like being cornered and had no choice. I don't want to go, and they clearly state they need money, "Carroll said.
