Manchester City vs Fulham

The ongoing FA Cup showdown resumes today and as always, there are lots of exciting fixtures coming up. Man City who are aiming for another FA Cup triumph will be hosting Fulham at home as they look to get to the next round.

Man City have probably given up on their title race hopes as Liverpool have shown that they are not slacking any time soon and are even looking like a team that would go on to do the invincibles this season. Nevertheless, Man City are keeping their eyes on other available trophies most especially the FA Cup and the champions league. Last season saw them do the treble and so far, they are huge favorites to retain the Cup this season. They will continue their quest tomorrow against Fulham at home as they look to progress to the next round of the competition.

Man City will be expected to set up in a 4-3-3 formation and also we are expecting them to make a few changes to the side the played in their last premier league game. As for their gameplay, we all know that City will dominate possession and will be looking to attack and create goal-scoring chances.

Fulham have done well so far and will be facing a very difficult fixture against Man City at the Etihad Stadium tomorrow. This is one of those fixtures that everyone are expecting the result to go one direction, including a lot of the Fulham fans, however, a positive result would be considered a great achievement for them. They will be going into this game to express themselves and see what happens and if luck is on their side, they can shock everyone and do the unimaginable at the Etihad Stadium come tomorrow.

Fulham will be expected to set up in a 4-3-3 which could be more of a 4-5-1 formation as they will most likely spend more time behind the ball. Their gameplan will be to stay defensively tight and to try to capitalize on opportunities in the game to hurt Man City.
