Manchester United vs Norwich City

Premier league actions return this weekend with fully packed and exciting fixtures. This week’s FA Cup showdown is completed as we now turn our attention to the upcoming premier league games this weekend. Man United will be facing Norwich City at home as they aim to bounce back to winning ways.

Man United have struggled quite a lot this season, however, they have somehow recovered and are now back in contention for the top 4 positions. They are coming from a loss against Arsenal in their last premier league game and will be looking to bounce back and return to winning ways. They are going up against Norwich who are still sitting rock bottom in the premier league table, a tricky fixture for United as we all know how difficult it can be to play against a team battling in the relegation zone.

Expected Formation and tactics… Man United United will be expected to set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation. They are playing at home and are clearly the favorites to get the job done. Their gameplan will be to dominate the game and try to utilize their superior qualities to get the job done against Norwich.

Norwich will be highly disappointed with the way the season quickly turned out for them considering how they started the season in a very promising manner. Their goal this season is to secure their stay in the premier league and will give everything to try to achieve their aims. Their last two premier league games has seen them show improvements especially their game against high flying Leicester City which saw them earn a draw. They will be aiming to upset Man United at Old Trafford this Saturday as a win could drastically boost their confidence going forward. They is still a lot of games left to play which is good news for them as a couple of wins could take them out of the danger zone.

Expected Formation and tactics… Norwich will be expected to set up in a 4-1-4-1 or a 4-2-3-1 formation. Norwich are a team that also likes to come out and play football, however, with their current situation, all that matters for them now is 3 points regardless of how it comes. They will be looking to make it very difficult for United at Old Trafford as they do everything possible to earn a positive result in this fixture.
