So this is a follow up post of my “what should we expect from the top 6 premier league sides next season”. In my previous post, I shared my opinion in terms of my expectations from Chelsea next season and how they would most likely be a force next season if they are able to add a few more quality names to the team. today, I will be focusing on Man United and will be giving my own opinion on what I expect from them next season…
Similar to Chelsea, Man United have been hit with a lot of ups and downs this season, they had more downs, however, they slowly began to gain points in the later stages. Prior to this who corona problems, they were already close to the top 4 and were already in the race for the champions league spot for next season. As we already know, they’ve have done quite well in terms of signings, Bruno Fernandes who they added to the squad is already showing his qualities and why Man United paid so much for him.
The good news for the Man United fans is that Man United are not stopping there and are seriously looking to bring in a few more top quality signings to Old Trafford next season. A few names have been linked to them these past few weeks, including the likes of Jadon Sancho who as things stands, they most likely the favorites to sign the player. There is no doubt that Man United will sign a couple of more quality players as they will be compete next season.
For me, I think Man United will be one of the top teams to look out for next season. The later stages of this season has given us a glimpse of what they can be if they have more quality in the team. As usual, we are not expecting them to play a lot of attacking football or some fancy football, but to be a really tough team to play against. Man United are known to be very dangerous when they play counter-attacking football, so we are expecting to see more of that next season, but with a bit more quality and crispness in their gameplay since they will most likely be adding quality players to the team.
