A joint statement by the Fans' Club of Manchester United and Manchester City in conjunction with those of Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool have joined forces to publicly show that they are strongly against the 'Project Big Picture'.

Earlier this week, the news broke that Manchester United and Liverpool executives made a proposal to the EFL. In this proposal, over £200m will be pumped into the EFL to aid the survival of over 70 smaller clubs struggling to stay afloat as the financial effects of the pandemic continues to hit them hard.

In this proposal also, Manchester United and Liverpool together with the other 'Big Six' teams and three other teams who have stayed longest in the Premier League will eventually have a bigger slice of the cake as regards the financial revenue the league generates.

The fans have come out to condemn this proposal, showing how bad it will be to the future of the smaller clubs in English football. The big teams already generate huge sums with the way things are currently. Now imagine how it's going to look like if this project is put in place. It will only spell more financial suppression to the smaller teams in English football.

Before this time, majority of the current Premier League teams have already come out to strongly condemn this move. Other pundits have come out to say the move is "morally wrong".
