Eduoard Mendy

The International break has afforded football players the opportunity to leave club football for a while and represent their countries. But as we may have it some clubs have now had players returning to camp with injuries, something that doesn't make the club managers very happy as it often affects their plans.

Latest to suffer from this Chelsea FC of England. Their newly signed GK Eduoard Mendy has left the Senegalese camp after picking up a thigh injury as the club has confirmed.

Mendy having impressed in his debut for The Blues against Crystal Palace last weekend, will really be a huge miss for the manager Frank Lampard if he doesn't recover in time. It is no longer news to everyone that Chelsea have really struggled in the goalkeeping department with Kepa Arizabalaga's struggle for form in recent months.

Manchester United is another club that also got injury scare with their own man Eric Bailly.

Bailly clutching his hamstring

Bailly appeared to have injured his hamstring and was substituted in 70th minute in the between Coté d'Ivoire and Belgium in Brussels. This sent shock waves to the Man United community across the globe. Fortunately, Eric Bailly came out via his IG handle and cleared the air that it was just a precautionary move. He is likely to start his country's games against Japan and give Ole Gunnar Solkjaer and his backroom staff nothing to be worried about.
