Thank God, the Internationals are over.

Let me be the first to welcome you back to the fifth week of the English Premier League season and more so to one of the more interesting matches on Saturday.

Manchester United take on forth placed Watford at Vicarage Road with expectations being nothing other than three points. Despite the rough start that Manchester United have had they still have fantastic individual players in the offensive part of the pitch. The issues are mainly at the back where a series of defensive errors have led to United conceding 8 goals.

Watford on the other hand have had a very strong start to the season with four straight wins which has them level on points with Liverpool and Chelsea who are on 12 points.

How Does Manchester United Beat Watford.

Watford are a very big and physical team especially in regards to their forwards, Troy Deeney, and Andre Gray.

On the wing, Pereyra has been on the form of his life and he will definitely be up to the challenge against a defense that has only kept a single clean sheet against a tired Burnley.

So, how does Manchester United make sure they walk away with all the points?

The defense is obviously the weakest link. Watford are a team running high on confidence at the moment and they will obviously keep attacking with the backing of their home fans. Keeping the balls into the box away for Deeney and Gray will be key. United should not allow the forwards any chances to head in crosses from within the box.

The midfield battle will also be very important. Watford has been playing a high press in their previous four games. They do not allow the opposition to rest on the ball at all. United should, therefore, try to launch the ball quickly from the back either to Lukaku to hold up or into the channels for the wingers to chase. Quick counter attacks will win this game.

Predicted Lineup

Based on my short quick analysis above, the team that played against Burnley will not change except for Luke Shaw who endured a head injury against Spain in the Internationals. There is no point in bringing him in too quickly and risking further injury despite his fantastic form in the previous games.

Marouane Fellaini looked great in the game against Burnley and he will play a similar role against Watford stopping most of the crosses coming into the box and shielding the fragile defense alongside the capable Matic.

Paul Pogba will be vital in this game. He will be the creative engine in the midfield and he will need to be on it since he will be actively carrying the ball up the pitch during counter attacks and finding either of Lukaku, Sanchez or Lingard ahead of him.

In defense from left back we will have Young, Lindelof, Smalling, Valencia and the best goalkeeper in the world, David De Gea.

I would also love to see Diogo Dalot make an appearance later in the game from the bench if he actually makes the bench.

Score Prediction

This is going to be an extremely tough match. However, it always seems when I feel that way about a game Manchester United always make light work of the opposition.

I am going with a 3-1 win for Manchester United with goals from Sanchez, Lukaku and a thumping header from Fellaini.

What do you think the score will be?

Post it in the comment section below and the first to get it right will get a share of the rewards from this post.
